Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website or engaging Craig's Shots for photography, videography, drone, or related media services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this website or our services.

2. Services Provided

Craig's Shots provides professional photography, videography, aerial drone media, product photography, executive portraits, event coverage, and related post-production services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project will be agreed upon in writing prior to work commencing.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking date.
  • The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final edited media.
  • All prices quoted are in USD and are subject to applicable taxes.
  • Additional editing, reshoots, or services not included in the original scope will be quoted separately.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • More than 7 days before the session: Full deposit may be applied to a new date.
  • Within 7 days of the session: The deposit is forfeited. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may require a new deposit.
  • No-shows: Clients who fail to appear at the scheduled time and location forfeit the full deposit with no option to reschedule.
  • Weather-related cancellations (for outdoor/drone shoots) will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

5. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All photographs, videos, and media produced by Craig's Shots remain the intellectual property and copyright of Craig's Shots unless a separate written copyright transfer agreement is executed. Clients receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered media for personal or internal business purposes.

Clients may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the media to third parties without prior written authorization. Credit to "Craig's Shots" is appreciated when media is published online.

6. Client Confidentiality & Media Release

All client photos, videos, and personal information are treated as strictly private and confidential by default. Craig's Shots will neveruse, publish, display, or share any client media — including on our portfolio, website, social media, or in any advertising materials — without the client's explicit, written permission via a signed Media Release form.

Clients may grant or revoke media release permission at any time by contacting us in writing. Upon revocation, we will remove the affected content from all public platforms within 14 business days.

7. Delivery & Turnaround

Standard delivery timelines are 10–14 business days from the date of the session. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee. Final deliverables will be provided via secure digital download link. Files will remain available for download for 30 days after delivery.

8. Limitation of Liability

Craig's Shots shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data corruption, or circumstances beyond our control that result in loss of media, our liability is limited to a full refund of the project fee or a complimentary reshoot at a mutually agreed upon date.

9. Drone & Aerial Services

All drone operations are conducted in compliance with FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 107). Craig's Shots maintains appropriate certifications and insurance for commercial drone operations. Flight operations are subject to weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and local regulations. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any drone flight for safety reasons without liability.

10. Client Conduct

Craig's Shots reserves the right to terminate any session if the client or their guests engage in behavior that is unsafe, disrespectful, or illegal. In such cases, the deposit and any additional fees are non-refundable.

11. Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Craig's Shots, its owner, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the client's use of the delivered media, breach of these terms, or any third-party claims related to the client's use of our services.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the state where Craig's Shots is headquartered.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
